Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between "WhereMoney" and traditional bookkeeping software?
Traditional bookkeeping focuses on "where the money is spent", while we focus on "whether the value of the money is wasted". We use our original daily consumption calculation model (DD & RHC) to help you review the utilization of your assets and find idle vulnerabilities in your wallet.
How data security is guaranteed?
Your privacy is our top priority. All financial data is stored on your local device by default and encrypted synced via a private iCloud container based on your settings. Unless you upgrade to Cloud Collaboration, we don't store your sensitive financial information on third-party servers.
How do i recover my pro purchase history?
In the "Settings" or "Paywall" page within the app, click the "Resume purchase" button. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, the system automatically verifies and restores all purchased benefits for you.
What is a "Wallet Vulnerability Alert"?
A vulnerability alert is triggered when the system detects that an asset has been inactive for too long, resulting in an abnormally high daily holding cost. This is a reminder that you should increase the use of the asset or consider reselling it for blood.
What to do with assets that have been resold or scrapped?
On the asset details page, select Dispose of the asset, and you can mark it as either Resold or Retired. The system will lock in the final holding cost of the asset and move it to the archive and will no longer be included in the total daily daily consumption.
